How to Create an Assessment

Where the carbon accounting workflow occurs

Setting up an Assessment in Sumday

To get started with your carbon accounting, the first thing you do is set up an ‘Assessment’.

Once you have set up an assessment period, you can start the accounting process for that reporting period your assessment aligns with.

Key Steps for creating a new assessment:

Step 1: On the left hand menu, select Assessments

Step 2: Select Start New Assessment

Step 3: Follow the prompts and select:

  • Reporting Period
  • Currency
  • Emission Factor Databases

When you hit continue, you will be taken to the overview screen for your assessment.
