Does Sumday’s educational materials count towards CPD hours?
For most jurisdictions, yes! The courses, resources, and webinars offered by Sumday Academy can contribute to your CPD (Continuing Professional Development) hours for professional qualifications.
Generally, guidelines from most accounting professional bodies for CPD hours are something along the lines of:
“If members believe that an activity is relevant to developing and maintaining their professional competence, and if it enables them to continue performing their role competently, they may claim CPD hours accordingly.”
Verifiable CPD hours vs Non-Verifiable CPD hours
Verifiable CPD hours require evidence of completion.
- Sumday’s courses come with completion certificates, these are provided shortly after you complete each course.
- Webinars can be verified with registration confirmations or calendar records.
Non-verifiable CPD hours do not require evidence of completion. Activities such as reading technical or professional articles, participating in discussion where learning is fostered, can be considered CPD as long as it is beneficial for your professional development.
