Import data from Xero

Overview

Our Xero integration imports financial transactions directly from Xero into Sumday.

You will need access to your business's Xero account to connect Sumday with Xero. If you don't, you will need to ask your finance team or accountant to assist with the connection. Here's a guide on what to ask for when contacting the finance team or your accountant.

💡 Tip: Before importing transactions from Xero, we recommend that you finalise your end of period procedures and adjustments prior to importing from Xero, this will help to ensure that the amounts in Sumday reconcile back to your Xero file. And there is nothing more satisfying when the books balance - so try and keep it that way!

Connecting Sumday and Xero

  1. Navigate to Assessments
  2. Select the Assessment you wan to import Xero transactions into
