  1. Export Your Data from Sumday
      • Go to Reports in Sumday.
      • Select the Carbon General Ledger Report and choose the unformatted export option, which is ideal for PowerBI.
      • Save the file locally on your computer.
  1. Download the PowerBI Dashboard Template
      • In Sumday, navigate to the Academy section.
      • Under Resources, select Report Templates and download the PowerBI Carbon General Ledger Report Dashboard Template.
  1. Import Data into PowerBI
      • Open PowerBI and load the template you downloaded.
      • When prompted, enter the file path of your saved export file.
      • Wait a few seconds for the dashboard to populate with your data.

  • Finding the File Path:
    • To get the file path of your export, open the CSV file, go to File > Info > Copy Local Path. Avoid using β€œCopy Path” as it might give a web-based path.
