Consolidated Reporting for multiple entities

The Consolidated Reporting tool in Sumday allows you to combine emissions data from multiple entities into one group-level view. This is useful if your organisation has subsidiaries, business units, or regions that report separately but also need to be included in a consolidated report.

Note: Consolidated Reporting is an additional paid feature. To activate this module, talk to your account manager or our support team for pricing and activation details.

Overview of Consolidated Reporting in Sumday

Accessing Consolidated Reporting

Once consolidate reporting is activated for your group by our team, you can access the module by following these steps from within the parent Sumday organisation:

  1. Go to Reports.

  2. Select the Consolidated Reporting tile.

  3. This will open the consolidated reporting dashboard.

What You’ll See

The consolidated reporting dashboard includes:

  • Overview tab – a high-level summary of emissions across all entities.

  • Breakdowns:

    • By entity (subsidiaries, business units, or regions)

    • By scope (Scope 1, Scope 2, Scope 3)

    • By emissions category and emissions source

  • User management – see who has access and manage permissions (if you are the account owner).

Adjusting Your View

  • Change reporting period: Use the date dropdown to view specific years or custom timeframes.

  • Filter entities: Hide or include entities to focus only on the data relevant to your analysis.

Downloading Reports

  • Click Download to export a consolidated Excel summary.

  • The export includes:

    • All entities in the group

    • Emissions broken down by scope, category, and source

  • This file can be used for board reports, regulatory submissions, or internal analysis.

Practical Tips

  • Set up each entity with its own Sumday account before consolidating.

  • Check date ranges across entities to ensure you’re comparing like-for-like.

  • Use filters to focus on entities or scopes most relevant to your reporting.
