Why Use Report Templates?

Writing reports for stakeholders, clients, or internal teams can feel overwhelming—especially when you’re not sure where to begin. Our templates are designed to provide a practical starting point, showing you how to frame key information, communicate insights clearly, and keep your reporting consistent and professional.

With these templates, you’ll find:

  • Pre-built structure – a clear outline you can adapt to your context.

  • Sample language – examples of how to phrase technical information in accessible terms.

  • Time savings – less time formatting, more time focusing on meaningful insights.

  • Consistency – helping you align your reporting style across different audiences.

How to Use the Templates

  1. Download a Template – Pick the one most relevant to your task.

  2. Read the Disclaimer – Each template is an example only and must be adapted to your organisation’s specific needs, data, and requirements.

  3. Adapt for Your Audience – Adjust tone and level of detail depending on who will read it (finance teams, sustainability leaders, external stakeholders).

  4. Make it Yours – Use the sample content as inspiration, but replace it with your own data and insights.

Final Note

Our report templates are here to help you get started quickly and confidently—but they’re not the final word. Think of them as scaffolding: once you’ve built your own process and voice, you’ll adapt them into something uniquely yours.
