Carbon Audit Report

The Carbon Audit Report is a a detailed reconciliation report that exports to Excel designed to simplify the validation of emission calculations such as how the emission factor was converted using CPI and FX. 

Allows users to easily cross reference the detailed calculations from The Carbon General Ledger Report, ensuring transaction and accuracy across each scope, category and worksheet. Ideal for auditors and internal reviews. 

To access the Carbon Audit Report

1. In the left hand navigation menu, click Reports
2. Set the date range you wish to run/export reports for in the top right of the Reports screen
3. Carbon Audit Report > Download
4. This automatically downloads/exports an excel file containing the report 

Information included in the Carbon Audit Report Export

Below is a list of the information/column headers in the exported excel report showing details in how the emissions were calculated 

• Scope - GHG Protocol emission scope - 1 2 or 3
• Category - GHG Protocol category
• Worksheet - the item description from the worksheet if activity based entry
• Date - date of activity based entry or transaction
• Supplier - Supplier where relevant if from a spend transaction
• Description - description from spend transaction
• GLAccount - general ledger account if a spend based transaction is involved
• EmissionSource - the selected emission source from the EF dataset
• EFSource - Emission Factor data source the EF came from
• EmissionFactor: The emission factor
• UOM: Unit of measure of the emission factor
• Quantity: Quantiy fo the unit of measure
• KgCO2e: Resulting KG of CO2e for the Unit of measure x quantity x EF
• LinkToSource: Link to Sumday Knowledge Centre article outlining details of the emission data set used
