You can un-reconcile transactions in Sumday from two places in an Assessment:
- The Reconciled tab in the Carbon Ledger of an assessment
- The Details screen of a Scope 3 category worksheet in the Accounting tab
Unreconciling a transaction returns it to the To reconcile tab of the carbon ledger to be re-reconciled. If you wish to delete imported transactions, see 'Delete imported transactions'.
How to un-reconcile transactions in the Carbon Ledger
- From the left hand menu in Sumday, go to Assessments
- Open the relevant assessment
- Click Carbon Ledger > Reconciled
- Select the transactions you want to un-reconcile and click 'Un-reconcile selected transactions'
- If you want to un-reconcile all transactions, scroll to the bottom of the reconciled transactions screen, click the checkbox in the top left of the screen to select all transactions, click 'Un-reconcile selected transactions'
How to un-reconcile transactions that are locked
Locked transactions in the Reconcile tab (a padlock icon where the checkbox usually is) are transactions that have been linked to activity data in the Accounting tab of the assessment.
To un-reconcile transactions that have been locked due to a link to activity data:
- From the left hand menu in Sumday, go to Assessments
- Open the relevant assessment
- Click Accounting > Scope 3
- Click Details on the Scope 3 category where the Activity based transaction(s) you want to un-reconcile is
- Select the transactions you need to un-reconcile - they will show as Activity calculation method
- Select 'Un-reconcile' in the top right
