Creating a Profile to share your sustainability story
This feature is currently available to Xero users only.
Profiles allow Xero users to create a public-facing page that communicates their sustainability efforts and emissions data. It’s designed to make sharing ESG information simpler by combining key company details into a single, shareable link.
Profiles are perfect for businesses that:
- Want to showcase their sustainability journey publicly.
- Need a quick, professional way to stand out from competitors.
- Are looking for a tool that helps them communicate carbon data clearly and credibly.

Create a Profile
- Log in to your Sumday account.
- In the left hand menu, click Profiles.

Fill in the content for each section.

Save your work as a draft, preview it, and publish when ready.
What You Can Add to Your Profile
You can add sections to your profile to showcase your business and sustainability initiatives.

- Company Name
- Industry
- Location
- Company Size

About Us
- A high level summary of your mission and key business activities
- Open text to write about your business
- Tick if you'd like to share that you're a Xero customer
- Add an image with your About Us section

Our Actions
- Share the sustainability initiatives your business is already taking.
- Action type - choose from Climate, Community, Diversity, Waste, Energy, Charirty
- TItle - give your initiaitve a title
- Open text - give more detail about the sustiabaility initiatiige
- Add an image
- Add up to 5 supporting documents via a link and/or files to further showcase the work

Emissions
- Share a high-level view of your emissions data, including Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 figures.
- Select the date/assessment period you are sharing your emissions for. Typically businesses share the most recently completed and verified emissions data.
- Upload a supporting report - the Carbon Baseline Report from Sumdays Reports is a thorough option
- Enter your Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions for the period you've chosen
- Click Save

Advisor Details
- share your advisors details on your profile if you want to highlight yo worked with an advisor to measure your carbon emissions in Sumday.
- Logo - share your advisors logo
- Company Name - advisor company name
- Profile URL - advisor's website URL
Saving, Publishing and Sharing Your Profile
Draft Mode

By default, your profile is saved as a draft while you edit.

You can return and make changes at any time before publishing.
Preview

Use the Preview button to see what your profile will look like before making it public.

This helps you check layout and content before sharing externally.
Publishing

When you’re ready, click Publish.

This creates a public link that you can share with stakeholders (e.g. in proposals, emails, or on your website).

You can return to the profile at any time to make updates. These changes will be reflected immediately on the public page.
Sharing

Once published, your profile is accessible via a unique URL.
- Click the three dots next to Preview and select Copy profile URL.
- Great for linking in emails, websites, and proposals.
Unpublish
- You can return your profile to draft after it’s published. Click the three dots next to Preview and select Unpublish
