The account owner can cancel a subscription from within Sumday. We recommend considering exporting any data before cancelling, see 'Export your data on cancellation' below.
To cancel a Sumday subscription:
Only the account owner can cancel a subscription from within Sumday. To do this:
- Login to the Sumday account you want to cancel the subscription for
- Click the menu drop down circle in the top right of the screen
- Click Account Preferences from the drop down menu
- Click Subscription at the top of the Account Preferences screen
- Click Manage Subscription
- Enter your Sumday credentials to login to the Sumday billing system
- Once logged in, you can see and manage the billing set up for the account.
- Click Cancel Subscription to cancel the subscription
If you have any issues, our team can also assist in cancelling a subscription, email support@sumday.io and your subscription will be cancelled.
Cancellation Notice
- There is a 30 day cancellation notice period for paying Sumday subscriptions. During the notice period, all users will continue to have access to the subscription.
- Cancellation is for an individual organisation. If you're the subscriber for several organisations (an advisor with multiple clients), cancelling one subscription won’t affect the others.
- Note that for 12 month subscriptions, you will not be refunded for the months remaining on your subscription.
Export your data on cancellation
- Once you cancel, you can’t access your platform.
- We recommend you export your data before you cancelling your subscription - see Reports for reports to export from Sumday to have record of data in Sumday.
- At the end of the one month cancellation notice period, Sumday will archive your data in order to comply with record-keeping requirements.
